Getting started

Backyard Weather Station works with your own Ambient Weather station.
On first launch, open Settings and enter your Application Key and API Key.
Get both keys for free at ambientweather.net/account.

Common questions

No data showing? Double-check both keys in Settings, and confirm your station is reporting to ambientweather.net.
Widget not updating? Open the app once so it can refresh; the widget also updates on its own roughly every 30 minutes.
Sunrise/moon missing? These appear when your station has coordinates set in your Ambient Weather account.

Privacy

See the Privacy Policy. In short: your keys stay in your device's Keychain, and nothing is sent to the developer.
